Rosemary Ann Guell, age 78, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on October 23, 1936 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Edward and Virginia (Seeley) Frisque. She enjoyed fishing, playing cribbage, watching NASCAR, the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Brewers, and Wisconsin Badger Football. She also enjoyed creating beautiful craft items and has hosted countless Christmas parties and pizza parties. Rose was a proud member of Eagles Aerie 270 Auxiliary.
SURVIVORS: one daughter, Lori (special friend Rick) Zabel Stafford of Fond du Lac; one son, Paul W. (Judy) Canfield of Brick, New Jersey; one brother, Joe (Jackie) Frisque of Larsen, WI; one sister, Charlotte Frisque of North Fond du Lac; five grandchildren, Kevin Stafford, Valerie Stafford, Justin Canfield, Jared Canfield, Dean Canfield; one great-grandson, Alex Stafford. Rose is also survived by three step-children, Mike (Linda) Guell, Karen (Geno) Price, and Julie (Herman) Basuki; and she is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and wonderful neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter’s father Ralph Zabel; her son’s father Pershing Canfield; and her step-children’s father Irving Guell.
VISITATION: Friday, May 29, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, N6250 County Road K, Fond du Lac, WI with a memorial service to follow at 4:30 P.M. Cremation has taken place and inurnment is at the Veteran’s Wall of Valor in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.
