Rosemary K. Schuchardt, 93, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born July 31, 1924 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Joseph and Katherine (Pickart) Murray. Rosemary attended St. Mary’s Grade School and graduated from Goodrich High School in 1942. On June 22, 1946 she married Robert U. Schuchardt at St. Mary’s Church in Fond du Lac. Rosemary and her husband, Robert founded Bob Schuchardt Insurance Agency in 1959 and it is still family owned today. Rosemary was a member of Holy Family Parish and Christian Women. She was a former member of Golden Girls Golf League at Rolling Meadows Golf Club, Rolling Meadows Thursday Ladies Golf League, and Karl Ray Wednesday Ladies Bowling League. Rosemary volunteered for St. Agnes Hospital, American Legion, Loaves and Fishes, and St. Vincent de Paul. She enjoyed golfing, sewing, spending many winter months in Mission, TX, going to the casino, and a good Old Fashioned.
She is survived by her children, Patricia (Richard) Miller, James (Toni) Schuchardt, and Judith (Robert) Docter; grandchildren, John (Raeann) Dobyns, Robert (Kari) Schuchardt, Julie (Stewart) Davis, and Martin (Erin) Docter; great grandchildren, Maggie and Hollie Dobyns, and Camden Docter; step great grandchildren, Lauren and Lucas Pritzkow; step great great granddaughter, Alana Pritzkow; nieces, nephews, and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; sister, Kathryn (Ervin) Konen; brothers, Eugene (Marjorie) Murray, James (Jeanne) Murray, and John (Audrey) Murray; brother-in-law, Clem Petrie; niece, Margene Pape; nephews, Dr. Kevin Murray and Michael Murray; and great nephew, Ryan Refinski.
The visitation will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Rosemary’s name may be directed to Agnesian Hospice Home of Hope.
The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Juan Diaz, Dr. Oliver Clements and the staff and volunteers at Hospice Home of Hope for their care and compassion given to Rosemary and her family.
