Rosemary Warren, 73, of 77 Wisconsin American Dr, Town of Fond du Lac, died peacefully and with family by her side on Saturday, November 21st, 2009.She was born August 18, 1936, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Alex and Katherina Steinbrecher Zulauf.On August 3, 1957 Rosemary Zulauf married the late Arnel (Bob) C. Warren of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, in Fond du Lac, WI.Rosemary's long working career began as an extraordinary stay at home mom. She then took a job as a secretary at the University of Arizona Medical Center before she relocated back to Fond du Lac and was hired as an Executive Secretary at Mercury Marine and then Rayovac in Madison before retiring in 2001. She also took on an evening job/hobby in Madison with Marshall Field's department store working in the fine dresses department. Rosemary was also a Mary Kay rep for nearly twenty years.Known for her strong Christian faith and love of family and friends, Rosemary's ability to laugh and never complain will be remembered most of all. She had a difficult road to follow after surviving lung cancer in 2001-2002 and it was long-term complications that eventually took her from us. Prior to surviving cancer, Rosemary had quit smoking, and adopted a very healthy lifestyle.Survivors include her five children; Robert Warren and his (special friend) Kana Makino of Newport Beach, CA, Matthew (Kim) Warren of Houston, TX, David Warren of Chandler, AZ, Andrew Warren and his partner Ty Cordova of Lakewood, WA, and Pamela Warren of Fond du Lac; three grandchildren, Daniel Warren of Arizona, Devin Warren and Barrett Warren of Houston, TX; one brother, Aaron (Darlene) Zulauf of Fond du Lac, and one sister Judy (Jack) Janssen of Lyons, KS; several nieces and nephews and many friends.Her parents and seven brothers and sisters; Bertha, Mabel, Clare, Marion, Leo, Carl, and Don, preceded her in death.
A celebration of life will be held from noon to 2 pm. With a memorial service being held at 2 pm. Saturday November 28th at Pilgrim United Church of Christ on 535 Stow St. Fond du Lac, with Pastor Ted Drewsen officiating. Cremation has taken place. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com.
