Roy G. Waggener

Roy G. Waggener, Jr., 62, of 136 E. 12th Street, Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011, in Oshkosh. He was born February 18, 1948, in Fond du Lac, the son of Roy and Margaret Putz Waggener, Sr. On March 23, 1979, he married Debra Bonnett in Fond du Lac. Roy was employed by Saputo Cheese for 44 years, retiring in October of 2010. Roy was a 1966 graduate of L.P. Goodrich High School, where he participated in wrestling and football. He was a diehard Packers fan. Before his employment at Saputo, he and his father, Roy Sr., trained show horses in Green Bay and Fond du Lac. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, trips to the casinos and car shows. Surviving is his wife, Debra, three sons, Greg (Patty) Waggener of Brandon, Michael (Fiancé Nichole Freund) Waggener and David (Heather) Waggener, both of Fond du Lac, five grandchildren, Jarrett, Melissa, Jaylyn, Lauryn, and Quentin. He is further survived by a brother, Steve (Jan) Waggener of Jupiter, FL, a sister, Debbie (Stuart) Troutman of Topeka, KA. And an aunt, Betty Heideman of Burnett, WI. His parents preceded him in death.



Visitation for Roy G. Waggener, Jr. will be on Sunday, February 13, 2011, from 4 to 7:30 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 7:30 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
