Roy J. Green

Roy J. Green, 72, of 9 S. Hickory Street, died Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Green Bay as the result of a traffic accident. He was born January 1, 1933, in Ellenboro, NC, the son of Max and Minnie Shepard Green. On June 18, 1955, he married Ruth Lilyquist in Sheboygan. Mr. Green was formerly employed by Mercury Marine as a die cast operator and was currently working part time for Badger Auto for the past four years. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Army and was discharged on June 4, 1954.Surviving is his wife of 43 years, Ruth, two daughters, Connie (Jeff) Schaefer and Joy (Gary) Sina both of Fond du Lac, a son Kevin Green of Fond du Lac, ten grandchildren, Ricky Bridges, Rebecca (Steve) Wagner, Heidi (Tim) Christie, Jennifer Schaefer, Jeffrey Schaefer, Chrissy (Nate) Birschbach, Melissa Sina, Beth Staerzl, Angela Green, Erin Green, and five great-grandchildren, Jordan, Cheyanne, Hanna, Skylar, and Ricky Lee. He is further survived by five sisters, Hattie Banning, Mary Mathis, Ellen Irving, Pat Connors, and Shirley Humphries, all of Ellenboro, NC, three brothers, Clyde, Larry, and James Green, all of Ellenboro, NC, and other relatives and friends. His parents and three brothers, Robert, Jerry, and Jesse preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Roy J. Green will be on Monday, December 19, 2005, from 11 to 2 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday at 2 pm at the funeral home. The Rev.
