Roy B. Moon

Roy B. Moon, age 82, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, December 29, 2024, at The Manor of Fond du Lac. He was born on November 8, 1942, in Taycheedah, the son of Bennie and Mildred (Shady) Moon. On November 3, 1962, Roy married Kathleen Parish at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. Roy worked at Mercury until retirement. He was a former of Church of Peace and a member of Eagles Aerie 270 since the 1980’s. Roy enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and softball in his younger years.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy of Fond du Lac; his children, Scott (Roxanne) Moon of Menifee, CA and Penny (Jim) Davis of Wautoma; grandchildren, Justin (Michelle), Nick (Rachel), Adam (Tara), Priscilla, and Danielle (Trevor), Sara (Ryan); ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Tom (Laurie) Moon; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Mary Moon; one grandson, Dante; his siblings, Linda Moon, Judy (Tom) Schneider, Ron Moon, and Jerry Moon.

Visitation will take place on Monday, January 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 1:00 PM with a luncheon to follow. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date at Ledgeview Memorial Park.
