Russell A. Redman, 80, of 597 Kingswood Avenue, died Monday, September 24, 2012, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born October 15, 1931, in Ripon, the son of Fred and Frieda Kloehn Redman. He graduated from Goodrich High School in 1950 and later received his Bachelor of Business Arts Degree with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1959. He was formerly employed by the Bendix Corporation, now part of Honeywell Inc., for 32 years as an accountant. He retired in 1991 at the age of 60 and moved to Fond du Lac in March of 2008. Russell was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1953 to 1955, spending a year in Germany, and was also a member of the Wisconsin National Guard. Surviving is a brother, Glenn (Betty) Redman of Fond du Lac, a sister, Marlene (Andy) Ellefson, also of Fond du Lac, two nieces, Sandra (Arron) Starks of Fond du Lac, Joan (Joe) Havey of Slinger, three nephews, Richard Jenks of Fond du Lac, James (Betsy) Jenks of Acworth, GA, and Randy Redman of Fond du Lac. He is further by two grandnieces, Kaitlyn Jenks and Lauren Havey, and four grandnephews, Brent Jenks, Steven Jenks, Kyle Jenks, and Ryan Havey. His parents preceded him in death.
A private family memorial service will be held for Russell Redman on Thursday, September 27, 2012, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Rev. Matthew Agee will officiate.
