Russell L. Koplin

Russell L. Koplin, 51, of Fond du Lac, died on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice, Sheboygan Falls, WI. He was born on August 29, 1970, in Milwaukee, the son of Craig and Joy (Hagner) Koplin. On, August 18, 2001, he married Christine Newlin in Fond du Lac. Russell was a journeyman plumber. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren who were the light of his life. Russell was a jack of all trades and mastered them all. He was always willing to help anyone and never knew the word “give-up.” Russell loved the water and woods and loved to hunt and fish. He was a master griller and loved to go on bike rides with his wife, Christine. Russell will truly miss his dog, Gracie.



He is survived by his wife, Christine; two sons, Kyle (Leah) Maas and Tyler (special friend, Jayden) Koplin; three grandchildren, Maci, Kaeden, and Natalie; his mother, Joy (Richard) Haynes; father and mother-in-law, Rodney (Ellen) Newlin; brother, Ryan (Missy) Koplin; three sisters-in-law, Donna (Tim) Hilbert, Carol (Kevin) Harmsen, and Vickie (special friend, Mark Hemes; and nieces, nephews, specials aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Craig; grandpa and grandma, Schultz, Hagner, and Koplin; niece, Kendra Kelm; and nephew, Colton Kelm.



The visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow the visitation at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
