Ruth A. Jensen, 74, of Brandon, died Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born July 30, 1941 in Salem, MA, the daughter of Horace and Alice Sullivan LeBlanc. On January 26, 1959 she married DuWayne H. Jensen in Peabody, MA. Ruth enjoyed knitting, gardening, and most of all taking care of her family.
She is survived by her husband, DuWayne; four children, Elizabeth (Dennis) Wegner of Fond du Lac, Judith Hannah of Red Granite, Alicia (Ralph) Slaboshski of Princeton, and DuWayne, Jr. (Melissa Timmons) Jensen of Ripon; eleven grandchildren, Joshua Wegner, Jason (Amanda Harlan) Wegner, Samantha (Jamie Keller) Wegner, David Hannah, Kimberly (Joe Curtis) Hannah, Tanya (David Pierce) Brewington, Andrew (Sara) Slaboshski, Charles Slaboshski, Jared (Emily) Slaboshski, Kristen (Jeff Carlson) Jensen, and Mia Timmons; five great grandchildren, Hannah Nault, Lillian Brewington, Cheyenne and Austyn Hannah, and Bryson Immel. She is further survived by her sister, Carol (Gordon) Schattuck of MA; four brothers, Charles LeBlanc of MA, James LeBlanc of MA, John (Denise) LeBlanc of NH, and Richard (Kris Neary) LeBlanc of NH; brother-in-law, Dennis (Kathy) Jensen of Princeton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Roberta and Jean Marie; her father and mother-in-law, DuWayne and Lillian Jensen; and two grandchildren.
The visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 pm on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. The memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, June 10, 2016 at the mausoleum. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will follow the services.
