Ruth A. Radtke, age 83, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 in Wautoma. She was born on August 6, 1929 in Waushara County, lovingly raised by her mother and "father", Walter and Elsie (Schwersinska) Frank. In 1947 she married Wilbert H. Cox. She then married Rolland Radtke and was married to him for fifty years. Ruth worked for twenty-nine years at Wells Manufacturing in Fond du Lac. She was a long standing member and very active at Salem United Methodist Church in Fond du Lac. Ruth enjoyed traveling and made it to all fifty states with her husband. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.SURVIVORS: one son, Dennis (Candace) Cox of Wild Rose; seven grandchildren, Michael (Karla) Cox, Jeffrey Cox, Julie (Aaron) Pamenter, Sara Cox, Jennifer (Scott) Evans, Kimberly (Jim) Laughrin, Lane (Tom) Nelson; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Wruck of Peoria, AZ, Katherine (Brian) Zamzow of Tomahawk; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; both of her husbands; two sons, Franklin W. Cox and Wilbert V. "Billy" Cox; one sister and her husband, Darlene (Warben) Searl; one brother, Vernon Hanley; one brother in law, Clifford Wruck.
VISITATION: Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 5-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend Jack Stubbs officiating. Burial will follow at Estabrooks Cemetery.
