Ruth Ann Brunette (Pomeroy)

Ruth Ann Brunette (Pomeroy), 77, of North Fond du Lac, passed away on April 13th, 2022, at Northgate Senior Living.



Ruth was born to Edward and Jenny Pomeroy on June 21st, 1944, in Milwaukee, WI. Ruth worked at Prange Way then started her career with Fox Valley Savings and Loan, first serving as an associate and working her way to loan officer. Ruth was proud to be one of the original members of the Morning Rotarians, serving as President for 1 term. Ruth was an avid volunteer in her community which ultimately led to her receiving a lifetime honorary membership to the Morning Rotary. She was known to be a social butterfly. Ruth enjoyed reading, playing cards, traveling, dining with friends, and was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.



Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her three children, Sherrie (Robert) Degner, Tammy (Ronald) Keller and Randy (Diana) Brunette; twelve grandchildren, Lloyd Munson, Cassandra Keller, Carolyn Keller, Cody (Riley) Cheevers, Joshua (Corrin) Cheevers, Mitchell Keller, Payton Degner, Stephanie (Phil) Devaki, Emily Schwirzer, Hannah Buckarma, Veronica Brunette, Olivia Buckarma; five great grandchildren, Blakley, Colton, Wyatt, Nicole, Kyler and one more on the way; six siblings, William (Jean) Pomeroy, Helen (Tom) Collins, Linda (Peter) Fiedorwica, Dale Atwood, Holly (Craig) Storm, Randy (Debbie) Atwood. Ruth was preceded in death by her first love, Terry Brunette; beloved sister, Janet Whitaker; and her brothers, Lee and Kenneth Atwood.



The visitation will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 3 – 5:30 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A time of remembrance will follow the visitation at 5:30 PM. Inurnment will take place at Rienzi Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.



The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Hope for their compassionate care and to other friends and family who were close to her in her final days.
