Ruth Ann Stephany

Ruth Ann Stephany, age 85, died Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on November 14, 1925 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Gustave and Gertrude (North) Saltzwadel. On June 29, 1946 she married Roman B. Stephany at St. Mary's Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2008. Ruth Ann worked for many years as a clerk at F.W. Woolworth's. She was an avid bingo player and loved the Green Bay Packers. Most of all Ruth Ann enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.SURVIVORS: two daughters, Patricia Stephany and Linda Stephany, both of Fond du Lac, twin sons, Daniel (Julie) Stephany and David (Christine) Stephany, both of Fond du Lac, four grandchildren, Amy (Joshua) Ackerman, Joseph (Ashley) Stephany, Kimberly Stephany, Benjamin Stephany, five great-grandchildren, Dominick, Treylon, Mekhi and Jayce Ackerman, Aaliyah Stephany, sisters in law, Agnes Leonhardt, Lillian Saltzwadel, Cynthia Wendt, Nancy Stephany, brother in law, Ralph Jahn, Ruth's special friend, Joan Krueger, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sisters and their husbands, Evelyn (Melvin) Totzke, Dorothy (Tom) Moore, Melverna (Fritz) Hanke, Myrtle (Fred) Fellrath, Carol Saltzwadel, her brothers, Arthur, Donald and Harold (Evelyn) Saltzwadel, sisters in law and brothers in law, Leona (Bill) Pierce, Monica (Immanuel) Kaiser, Dorothy Jahn, Anna (Gordon) Schultz, Regina (Bob) Huck, Edwin (Olive) and Francis Stephany.



VISITATION: Tuesday, October 18, 2011 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Family-St. Mary's Church, 59 E. Merrill St, Fond du Lac.
