Ruth D. Grunwald

Ruth D. Grunwald Ruth D. Grunwald, 93, formerly of East Cotton Street, Fond du Lac, died Saturday, January 15, 2011, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born May 25, 1917, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Edward and Rosetta Kaeding. On May 25, 1941, she married Lester E. Grunwald at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1987. Ruth was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, embroidery, and gardening. Surviving is a daughter, Catherine (William "Bill") Styles of Fond du Lac, two grandchildren, Paul (Friend Debbie) Styles of Port Washington and Kelly (Ryan) Potratz of Eldorado, a great-grandson, Nathan Styles of Grafton, and a sister, Jeanette McDonald of Kenosha. Further surviving are nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, three brothers, Edward, Norman, and Carl Kaeding, and a sister, Bernice Grudznski, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Ruth D. Grunwald will be on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1600 S. Main Street, Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the church. The Reverend Jon Cox will officiate and burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1600 S. Main Street, Fond du Lac.
