Ruth E. Jung

Ruth E. Jung, 94, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born in Weisswasser, Germany on July 8, 1921 the daughter of Gustav and Paula Melcher. On July 3, 1959 she married Harry Jung in Fond du Lac. Ruth worked for Wells Manufacturing for many years retiring in 1986. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, needlepoint, dancing, and loved gardening. Ruth was a beautiful homemaker.



She is survived by her husband, Harry; one son, Mark (Anne) Jung of Milwaukee; one sister-in-law, Ursula Melcher of Germany; one niece, Petra (Laci) Bartha of Germany; one nephew, Michael (Sylvia) Melcher of Germany; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kurt Melcher and Werner Melcher; and one sister, Hilda Melcher.



The visitation will be held from 11:00am – 12:00pm on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. The funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum. Entombment will follow.
