Ruth E. Sabel

Ruth E. Sabel, 83, formerly of 386 4th Street, died Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Grancare Nursing & Rehabilitation Center where she had been a resident for the past six years. She was born June 23, 1927, the daughter of Chris and Louise Korth Salzman. On January 19, 1946, she married William E. Sabel at Hope Lutheran Church where she was currently a member. Ruth enjoyed fishing and hunting with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Surviving is her husband, William, four sons, Roger (Patricia) Sabel of Fond du Lac, Richard (Debbie) Sabel of the Town of Empire, David (Theresa) Sabel of Oshkosh, and Randy (Linda) Sabel of Eden, two daughters, Sharon (William) Rhead of Ann Arbor, MI, and Annette (Kenneth) Zynda of Stevens Point. Eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two sisters, Charlotte Braatz,North Fond du Lac, and Marge Shingen, Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends further survive her.



Visitation for Ruth E. Sabel will be on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, from 4 to 7 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and again on Wednesday, May 11th, from 9 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Steven Huff will officiate and burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
