Ruth L. Oaks

Ruth L. Oaks, age 87, died Thursday, December 08, 2011 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on April 19, 1924 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Gustave H. and Elizabeth C. (Schmidt) Polinske. On September 23, 1950 she married William L. Oaks in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on October 6, 1976. Ruth was a former member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church and Luther Memorial Church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and loved bowling and shooting pool.SURVIVORS: two daughters, Delores (Kenneth) Prochnow of Campbellsport, Barbara (Michael) Bengel of Fond du Lac, three grandchildren, Wanda (Randy) Buettner of Campbellsport, Roxanne (Tim Vowell) Bengel of Madison, Scott (Heidi) Bengel of Fond du Lac, five great-grandchildren, Allison, Conor, Carli, Sydney, and Madeline. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one step-daughter, Shirley Feld, one great grand-daughter, Sophie, two brothers, Alex (Evelyn) Luttenberger, and Clarence (Eleanor) Polinske.



VISITATION: Sunday, December 11, 2011 from 2-5 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac and also on Monday at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home until the time of services. FUNERAL: Monday, December 12, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park.
