Ruth M. Lange

Ruth M. Lange, 85, of 517 Luco Road, died Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at the Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac. She was born the daughter of Erwin and Edna Lasche Schmidt on July 3, 1922 in Wauwatosa. On January 2, 1943 she married Marvin R. Lange in Milwaukee. Ruth worked for many years as a teacher's aide at Shady Lane School in Menomonee Falls. After retiring she enjoyed visiting her family and traveling.SURVIVORS: seven children, Judith (Albert) Messner, Oakfield, Susan (Robert) Walther, Omro, James (Anita) Lange Waukesha, Richard Lange, Somerset, Robert (Sarah) Lange, Athens, David (Joan) Lange, Milwaukee, Thomas (Carol) Lange, Cary, IL; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a brother, Thomas (Shirlee) Schmidt, Plymouth, MN; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Marvin in 2000, a daughter, Sally and a brother Erwin Jr.



VISITATION: will be from 10-11 AM on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday at the funeral home with Mary Ketterhagen officiating. At Ruth's request her body has been donated to the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.Memorials can be directed to the Hospice Home of Hope.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
