Ruth M. Mendlesky

Ruth M. Mendlesky, 99, a resident of St. Francis for the past year, died Friday, September 20, 2013. She was born September 7, 1914, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Emmitt and Kathryn Wagner Everson. On November 25, 1937, she married Raymond J. Mendlesky at St. Mary's Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1995. Ruth was a member of Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church. She was formerly employed by Infant Socks. She is survived by a son, Robert (Margaret) Mendlesky of Eagle River, five grandchildren, Lynn (Patrick) Groesbeck of North Fond du Lac, Laura Foster, Kathleen (Jeff) Gravelle, Ann (Ken) Krueger, and Michael (Rebecca) Mendlesky, all of Fond du Lac, 14 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Richard, a daughter-in-law, Barbara Mendlesky, and a sister, Agnes Miller.



Visitation for Ruth M. Mendlesky will be on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, from 9 to 11 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 678 Western Avenue, Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
