Ruth M. Yelle

Ruth M. Yelle, age 79 of 629 South Main Street, Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born in Indiana, March 7, 1928 the daughter of Lloyd and Augusta Hawk Slade. On March 27, 1946 Ruth married David F. Yelle. Ruth and her husband owned and operated Yelle's Restaurant and Catering. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.Ruth is survived by her husband, David F. Yelle, Fond du Lac, two sons David L (Venola) Yelle, Milwaukee, and Stephen J. (Christine) Yelle, Sheboygan, a daughter, Susan (Larry) Saunders, Fond du Lac, six grandchildren, Troy (Tracey) Saunders, Menasha, Tad (Katie) Saunders, Fond du Lac, Rebecca and Rachel Yelle, Tennessee, Michelle (Jeremiah) Siebert, Boston, MA, Nicholas (fiancé Teri McDonald) Yelle, Sheboygan, four great-grandchildren, and one sister, Elizabeth Burton, Waco, TX. Her parents, a daughter, Mary Ellen, two brothers, Edgar and Earl Slade, one sister, Marjorie Petrycki, preceded Ruth in death.



The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 5, 2008 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family-Sacred Heart Church with Rev. James Jaeger officiating. Cremation has taken place with inurnment at Calvary Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is assisting the family.
