Salena A. Loehr

Salena A. Loehr, 94, of Touchstone Assisted Living Center, North Fond du Lac, died at St. Agnes Hospital on Tuesday, August 04, 2009. She was born July 2, 1915, in the Town of Stockbridge, Calumet County, the daughter of Lorenz P. and Rose Giebl Theyerl. On August 16, 1933, she married Herman Diederichs in Fond du Lac and he preceded her in death in 1988. She later married Bernard Loehr and he preceded her in death in 1998. Salena was raised in the Town of Stockbridge area and spent several years in Sheboygan. She had been a Fond du Lac County resident since 1938. She owned and operated Diederichs Jewelry with her husband, Herman.Surviving are three grandsons, James (Deb) Diederichs of Glenbulah, and Greg (Juli) Diederichs and Brian Diederichs, both of Fond du Lac, five great-grandchildren, Amee, Alissa, Megan, Jenna, and Matthew, her daughter-in-law, Grace Diederichs-Adams of Fond du Lac, one step-son, Tim (Pam) Loehr of Summerton, SC, and two step-daughters, Marilyn (Gene) Colward and Diane (Larry) Eggers of Fond du Lac, and step-grandchildren. A sister-in-law, Luella Theyerl of Fond Du Lac, two nieces and a nephew, other relatives and friends including a special friend, Mary Neuman of Fox Lake, further survive her. Preceding her in death were her parents, both husbands, a son, Ralph Diederichs, and a brother, Victor Theyerl.



Visitation for Mrs. Salena A. Loehr will be on Friday, August 7, 2009, from 9:30 to 11:30 am at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word for Christian Burial services will be at 11:30 at the funeral home. The Rev. Carl Diederichs, Salena's nephew, will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
