Sara E. Vanderlin

Sara E. Vanderlin, age 35, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 19, 2024, in Milwaukee. She was born on June 3, 1988, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Amy Vanderlin. Sara graduated from Fond du Lac High School in 2006. She graduated from MSOE with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in May of 2010 and then went on to earn a master’s degree in project management from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in May 2014.

 Sara worked at Fire Brick Engineers Co. in Milwaukee and currently worked for Kinetic in Greendale, WI, as a Manufacturing Engineer. She was a very generous person and always preferred giving gifts and making people happy rather than receiving. Through the donation of her cornea’s Sara was able to give the gift of sight to two people. She truly loved having fun in life, spending time with her family and friends and going to community events such as the State Fair and Walleye Weekend. Sara was always up for trying new things. She loved traveling, sports, camping, concerts, plays, and especially animals.

Survivors include her mother, Amy Vanderlin; significant other, Steven Spear; fur babies, Hope and Maya; aunts and uncles, Randy (Marianne) Vanderlin, Jean Ward, David (Jayne), Mark (LaVonne), Mary Vogel, her godfather, Tom (Vicki) McKee; and many cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Marguerite Vanderlin; two aunts, Patti McKee-her godmother, and Kathleen Spruttles; one uncle, Robert Vogel.

 Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
