Sharon Lee Minnick, 69 of 55 North Portland Street, Fond du Lac, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Manor Care Health Services. Sharon was born in Fond du Lac on September 15, 1945 the daughter of Willard and Virginia Mann Barnes. She was employed at Fleet Farm and Pick N Save from where she retired. Sharon was an active member of the Catholic War Veteran’s Auxiliary No.1329 and the Foster Grandparents Program at Riverside Elementary School.
SURVIVORS: Sharon is survived by six children, Bryan (Peggy) Wondra, Hartford, Christopher Wondra, Fond du Lac, Marcella (Boyd) Blodgett, Campbellsport, Joseph (Lyn) Wondra, Fond du Lac, Kimberly (Darvin) Rickert, Fond du Lac and Laura Minnick, Fond du Lac, thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, twelve brothers and sisters, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, special aunt and uncle, Wynard (Margaret) Barnes, former husband Elroy Minnick, grandson David Todd Wondra, two sisters; infant sister Barbara, and Renee Wondra.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 10-11 A.M. at the American Legion Club House, 500 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the American Legion Memorial Club House. Reverend Jeff Blain will officiate. Cremation has taken place.
