Sharon Marie Sullivan, 62, of Leon, passed away Friday, October 9th, 2009. Sharon was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio on February 18, 1947, the daughter of the late Carl and Maxine (Beach) Campbell. She was the volunteer coordinator for Court Appointed Special Advocate (C.A.S.A.) and had been a foster mom. Sharon had spent her entire life protecting the rights of children. She had over 35 foster children over the period of her life. On December 31, 1980 she married David Sullivan and he survives. She is also survived by her children, Michelle Dunphy and husband Jacob of Burbank, CA; Michael Sullivan and Megan Sullivan both of Fond du Lac, WI.; and Tiara Wilson-Sullivan of Leon; step son, Matthew Sullivan of Chicago; brother, Kenny Campbell of Anna, Tex.; sisters, Sue Campbell of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; and Jean Campbell of Sarasota, FL; a grandson, Elliot Dunphy; 3 step grandchildren; and nephews and nieces, Travis, Kevin, Alan, Lindsey and Kelly.
Visitation was held on Sunday October 11, 2009 from 4-7 pm at Headley Funeral Chapel, in Augusta, KS and 4-8 pm Thursday October 15, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home in Fond du Lac, WI. Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm Friday, October 16, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, Fond du Lac with MAry Council-Austin officiating. Burial will follow at Rienzi Cemetery Town of Empire, WI.Memorials are appreciated to C.A.S.A. or American Cancer Society.
