Sharon "Sherrie" (Andrews) Wittkopf

Sharon "Sherrie" (Andrews) Wittkopf, 78, of Fond du lac, ran into the arms of Jesus on Friday, October 18, 2024, after a long battle with dementia. She was born on August 17, 1946, in San Bernardino, California to Charles Sr. and Adeline (Lahl) Andrews. She graduated from Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac in 1964. She married the love of her life, Dennis Wittkopf on June 14, 1969, at Hope Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac.

She always lived her life putting God and others first. She was the founder of New Beginnings Pregnancy Care Center in Fond du Lac. She spent years volunteering for the Fond du Lac Red Cross, helping at many local and national disasters including the flooding at Grand Forks, North Dakota; Hurricane Katrina; and 9-11 in New York.

She was never afraid to tell others about the love of Jesus. She was a stay-at-home Mom as her children were growing up which was a blessing to the family. Sherrie and Dennis took their children, and even their granddaughter, to many wonderful places in the US. She and her husband, sometimes along with her father and her siblings and their spouses, went on many cruises all over the world. She enjoyed taking photos, crocheting, cross stitching, camping and spending time with family.

Sherrie is survived by her husband of over 55 years, Dennis; her children Tami and Scott; her granddaughter, Ashley (Adam) Springer; a brother, John (Carol) Andrews, a brother-in-law Ron Felsner; and many nieces and nephews and their children and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Charles Andrews Jr; a sister, Judy Felsner. her father-in-law George Wittkopf; mother-in-law Lorraine Schneider.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 6:00 PM. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date at Rienzi Columbarium.
