Sherril E. (Hale) Reams

Sherril E. (Hale) Reams, age 64, was reunited with her husband in Heaven on February 23, 2025, at UW Hospital. She was born on May 7, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, MO, the daughter of Floyd and Mary (Smith) Hale. Sherril married the love of her life, Horace Reams on May 20, 1978, in Scott City, MO. Horace preceded her in death on June 12, 2015. Sherril worked as a registered nurse at St. Agnes Hospital. In her spare time Sherril loved to travel. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren play sports.

Survivors include her children, Kristi (Gary) Gray and Matt (Nicki Johnson) Reams; three grandchildren, Katie, Owen, and Connor Gray; three great-grandchildren; her sister, Teresia (Wayne) Sinn; her brother, Keith (Elaine) Hale; nieces and nephews, Jessica (Matt) Uhrhan, Jonathon (Nicole) Sinn, and Justin Sinn; four great-nephews; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Horace. 

Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow the service at Rienzi Cemetery.
