Shirley A. (Alby) Crabtree

Shirley A. (Alby) Crabtree, 64, of 255 E. Scott Street, died Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at her residence after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She was born May 25, 1943, in Neenah, the daughter of Irwin an Eldora Hogenson Alby. Mrs. Crabtree was formerly employed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance as a claims representative. She is survived by a daughter, Andrea Crabtree, and a son, Chad Crabtree, both of Houston, TX, her mother, Eldora Alby of Fond du Lac, a brother, Richard Alby, also of Fond du Lac, and two nieces, Deanna (Holger) Sommerfeld of Colgate, WI, and Karin (Matt) White of Sussex, WI. She is further survived by her former husband, Jeff Crabtree of El Paso, TX. Her father preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Shirley A. (Alby) Crabtree will be on Monday, January 28, 2008, from 4 to 6:30 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 6:30 pm on Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Rosenberg will officiate and inurnment of cremated remains will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be directed to the Blanton-Davis Ovarian Cancer Research Program at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
