Shirley A. Kleinhans

Shirley A. Kleinhans, 69, of W5337 Martin Lane, Town of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, November 26, 2010, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born August 18, 1941, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Charles and Effie Himo Schlumpf. Shirley was a 1958 graduate of Goodrich High School, and was formerly employed by International Paper Company. On September 22, 1962, she married Ralph Kleinhans at St. Patrick's Church in Fond du Lac. She loved bingo, attending church diners, taking cruises, and taking her annual trip to the Mall of America. Her daughter, Shelly, and her four grandchildren were the love of her life. She was a member of the Church of The Presentation in North Fond du Lac. Surviving is her husband, Ralph, a daughter, Shelly (Jim) Binner of Oshkosh, four grandchildren, Kayla, an exchange student in South Africa, and Bailey, Tyler, and Bryce, all of Oshkosh. She is further survived by five special friends, Gloria Wright of Seattle, WA, Patti (Jim) Salter of Fond du Lac, Shirley (Dennis) Lefeber of Johnsburg, Lila Mae (Vernon) Immel of Fond du Lac, and Betty Koenigs of Fond du Lac. Her parents preceded her in death.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Doctors, nurses, and staff of the Intensive Care Unit, and Janis Gutreuter for their compassionate care of Shirley.



Visitation for Shirley A. Kleinhans will be on Sunday, November 28, 2010, from 4 to 8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and again on Monday, November 29th, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Church of The Presentation, 705 Michigan Avenue, North Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Monday at the church. The Reverend John Simon will officiate. Entombment will be in the Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
