Shirley A. Martin

Shirley A. Martin, 87, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, February 20, 2023, at her residence. She was born on February 23, 1935, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Frederic and Esther (Kroll) Rieman. On September 8, 1962, she married Ralph Martin at Covenant United Methodist Church of Fond du Lac. Shirley was an executive secretary at First Wisconsin National Bank in Fond du Lac for many years. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church and volunteered as a reader at Chegwin Elementary School. Shirley liked traveling and gardening in her spare time.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Audrey Martin; nephew, Rick (Deb) Martin; five nieces, Patti (John) Stoecker, Jeanne Kebble, Mary Jo Berenz, Julia (David) Crouch, and Lori (Bill) McMahon; and many great nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; two brothers-in-law, Robert and Kenneth Martin; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Martin.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Entombment will follow the visitation at Rienzi Garden Mausoleum.
