Shirley D. Thiede

Shirley D. Thiede, 79, of North Fond du Lac, died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born January 18, 1939 in Sheboygan, the daughter of Elmer and Dorothy Mayer Glaubig. She was a graduate of Goodrich High School. On October 22, 1960 she married Dennis B. Thiede and he preceded her in death on November 24, 2000. She was a loving mother and great friend who participated in many community activities and was loved by many. Shirley was a member of Church of Our Saviour where she assisted with different volunteer services, funeral luncheons and ladies quilting.



She is survived by four children, Kevin (Donna) Thiede of Iron Mountain, MI, Bradley Thiede (Kathy) of Wautoma, Gregory Thiede (Melanie) of North Fond du Lac, and Deborah Greuel (John) of Fond du Lac; eleven grandchildren, Bobby, Justin T, Kirsten, Curtis, Katie, Nick, Becca, Justin G, Trisha, Victor, and Dakota; nine great grandchildren; three siblings, June, Ronnie, and Roger; and many other loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dennis; and siblings, Jim, Jane, and Ester.



The visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Church of Our Saviour, 363 S. Main Street, Fond du Lac.



The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Church of Our Saviour, with Rev. Matthew Agee officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services.
