Shirley J. Restall

Shirley J. Restall, 81, 434 Martin Avenue, died Thursday, January 17, 2008, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born September 4, 1926, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Jerry G. and Margaret M. Whalen Starke. Mrs. Restall was formerly employed by the Fond du Lac City Police Department in the Clerical Records Department for 16 years retiring in 1989. She had been a Fond du Lac resident since 1992, moving from San Antonio, TX. Surviving are three daughters, Mary (Keith) May of Fond du Lac, Carey Ann (Lee) Florian of Oshkosh, and Samantha Gesell of Cave Creek, AZ; two sons, John (Jennifer) Gunderson of Oshkosh, and James (Sandra) Gunderson of Omro; nine grandchildren, Maggie (Dan) Johnston, Mollie May, Erica, Jamie, and Lindsay Gunderson, and Amy (Mason) Jennings, Dustin, and Hannah Gesell, and six great-grandchildren, Lucas Peters, Kallie Daniels, Ada, and Jaspir Johnston, Gus and Quinn Jennings. Her parents, a brother, Jerome Starke, and a sister, Mary Alice Starke preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Shirley J. Restall will be on Monday, January 21, 2008, from 4 to 6:30 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the memorial visitation. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com.
