Shirley M. Gehde

Shirley M. Gehde, 76, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born November 30, 1936, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Frank and Eunice Duerr Reinhold. Shirley was a 1954 graduate of St. Mary's Springs Academy. On July 30, 1958, she married James M. Gehde in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2000. Shirley was a member of Holy Family Parish. She enjoyed reading, going to her great-grandchildren's sporting events, and especially visiting with her family. Surviving are three daughters, Julie Pallowick of Fond du Lac, Linda (Doug) Graham of Bloomington, MN, and Jean Frazier of Fond du Lac, a son, Steven (Lisa) Gehde of Fond du Lac, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and her loving sister, Carol (Fred) Schmidt of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.



Per Shirley's request there will be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place with inurnment of cremated remains in the Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
