Sinella F. Loest

Sinella F. Loest, age 94, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, February 1, 2016 at St. Francis Home. She was born on October 24, 1921 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of William and Rose (Cannon) West. In June of 1961 she married Ervin W. Loest in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death in June of 1995. Sinella and Erv owned Chef Ervin’s and operated The Colony for many years. Sinella then worked for twenty years at St. Agnes Hospital until retiring in 2002.



SURVIVORS: five sons, Michael Tarpey of Fond du Lac, Dennis Tarpey of Fond du Lac, Ron Tarpey of Fond du Lac, Ervin (Ann) Loest of Beaver Dam, Dan (Chris) Loest of Fond du Lac; seven grandchildren, Amy (Jon) Rhode, Tara (David Peters) Tarpey, Ashley (Brian) Fisher, Kaitlyn (Russ) Zupan, Cassaundra, Elena, and John; two step-grandchildren, Elizabeth Mason and Dustin Mason; four great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; one brother in law, Duane and Donna Loest. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Robert; one sister, RoseEllen.



VISITATION: Friday, February 5, 2016 from 4-6 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Private family entombment will take place on Saturday at All Faiths Mausoleum, Rienzi Cemetery.
