Stanley R. Pinch

Stanley R. Pinch, 87, of Fond du Lac, and formerly of Rosendale, died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Walnut Grove House, Fond du Lac. He was born December 12, 1924 in the Town of Springvale, the son of George W. and Phyllis G. Randall Pinch. Stanley was a 1942 graduate of Union Free High School, Rosendale. On November 20, 1946 he married Muriel J. Perry in Rosendale and she preceded him in death on July 19, 1967. On March 20, 1971 he married Evelyn Otte Dreikosen in Fond du Lac and she preceded him in death on October 20, 1988. Stanley was a member of Rosendale United Church of Christ and the Rosendale Lions Club. Stanley owned and farmed the Pinch family farm until 1986, when his sons took over the business. The farm has been in the family for over 100 years. He was also a rural mail carrier for 35 years. Stanley enjoyed golfing, bowling, hunting, traveling and especially loved spending time with his family.SURVIVORS: his three children, Dennis (Mary) Pinch, Rosendale, Dianne (Gerald) Pucker, Rosendale, Jeffrey (Joan) Pinch, Rosendale; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two step children, Terri Dreikosen, Milwaukee and Mary Beth (Donald) Schmuhl, Fond du Lac; two step grandchildren. He is further survived by three sisters-in-law, Eileen Pinch, Eldorado, Joyce Pinch, Rosendale, Patti Pinch, Richardson, TX; his special friend, Joan Schatzke, Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Muriel and Evelyn; one daughter and son-in-law, Jill (Mike) Lecher; eight siblings, Raymond Pinch, James Pinch, Bernice Ebert, Beryl Maltby, Lloyd Pinch, Gordon Pinch, John Pinch, Betty Hobbs; four sisters-in-law, Eileen Pinch, (wife of Raymond), Betty Jane Pinch, (former wife of James), Elda Pinch, (wife of Gordon), Dorothy Pinch, (wife of John); three brothers-in-law, Eldred Ebert, Sylvester Maltby, Lewis Hobbs.



VISITATION: will be from 3 "“ 6 PM on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. Laura Hawkins officiating. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place in Rosendale Cemetery.In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Stanley's name.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Walnut Grove and Agnesian Hospice for the loving care given to their father.
