Stephen V. Sztukowski

Stephen Vincent Sztukowski, 81, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, WI. He was born August 31, 1933 in Cudahy, WI, the son of Mary and Joseph Sztukowski.



He entered the Air Force at age 18, and served for 3 years. Steve moved to Fond du Lac and opened Jet Stream Car Wash in 1962. Then in 1982 he started Dairy Products Marketing Co. Inc. which is still in operation by his daughter, Ann Marie and Yvette Borchert. He was a much respected fixture in the cheese industry to all his business associates who considered him a great man and friend. Known by everyone as “Milwaukee Steve” and “Cash”, he has always expressed a strong work ethic and been a very generous and giving man through his charitable contributions. When he wasn’t hard at work selling cheese, he loved playing golf, being a wine connoisseur, spending time at his property Falcon’s Lair and expressing his Polish pride. For decades, Steve was a director and member of the South Hills Golf & Country Club where he had a positive impact. His passion for golf inspired his daughter, Ann Marie, who took up the game at a young age under the watchful eye of her father. This inspiration developed a talent in Ann Marie that continues to this day, making Steve incredibly proud of her.



Survivors include his daughter, Ann Marie Sztukowski of Fond du Lac, sister Florence Janicek, sister Josie Janicek, sister Rosemary Setum and sister Jean Korlewski. His parents, significant other Mary Walgenbach, sister Dorothy Panosian and sister Theresa Salazar preceded him in death.



Steve will be deeply missed by all the lives he touched throughout his lifetime. Especially by his daughter Ann Marie who couldn’t have asked for a more loving and generous father.

Memorials may be directed to the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.



Visitation for Steve will be held Monday, May 11, 2015 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac and again on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way in Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Military honors will take place after the mass with cremation to follow the services. Inurnment will be in the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac.
