Steven J. Snyder

Steven Joseph Snyder, age 40, died unexpectedly at his home on Cobblestone Drive in Fond du Lac, on Wednesday, September 2, 2009. He was born on October 20, 1968 in Fond du Lac, the son of Rick L. and Betty J. (Hodorff) Snyder. He was employed by Diverse Options in Ripon. Previous employers include, Salty's, Brooke Industries, and Eden Café. Steven attended Badger Camp yearly, the Special Olympics, ARC. He loved the Green Bay Packers, country music, hunting, fishing, camping, bowling, mowing the lawn with the John Deere, going for daily walks with his good friend Mark, driving his Marine jeep along side his dad in parades, and all animals, especially his dog Brandy. He enjoyed keeping an eye on the weather, he always smiled when we called him the "weather man". Steven was very friendly and always remembered a familiar face. He loved spending time with his niece and nephews.SURVIVORS: his parents, Rick and Betty Snyder, two sisters, Tina (Jason) Schmidt, Jeni (special friend Chad Minnier) Snyder, aunts and uncles, Dan Snyder, Lyle (Bonnie) Krug, Mike Muckerheide, Marilyn (Dave) Krueger, Sharon Hodorff, Kathy Hodorff, Carole Snyder, niece, Brittany Snyder, nephews, Ryan Snyder, Nick Wehle, Tristen Hildebrand, Devlin Hildebrand, and many cousins, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Blanche (Rahl) Snyder, maternal grandparents, Merlin and Florence (Baganz) Hodorff, three uncles, Dennis Hodorff in 2008, James Hodorff in 2006, and William D. Snyder in 2004, one aunt, Carolyn Muckerheide in 2009.



VISITATION: Tuesday, September 8, 2009 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Friends may call on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Entombment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
