Susan C. Behring

Susan C. Behring, age 56, of 1118 Wedgewood Lane, died Monday, November17, 2008 at Hospice Home of Hope after a short battle with Lung Cancer. She was born on August 30, 1952 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Chester and Mabel Hoffman Wilcox. On August 28, 1971 she married Thomas Behring at Luther Memorial. Susan was a graduate of Goodrich High School Class of 1970. She had worked at Reliable Knitting, Speed Queen, and Mercury Marine. She was a member of Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church. Susan enjoyed helping people in need, and she loved traveling throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Surviving is her husband, Thomas, of Fond du Lac, two daughters, Kim (Curt) Justice of Cleveland, WI, and Karen Ferdinand of Atlanta, GA, two grandchildren, Britany Rockow and Anthony Ferdinand, eight brothers and sisters; Bob Wilcox of Fond du Lac, Chester (Darlene) Wilcox, Jr. of Fond du Lac, Don (Wendy) Wilcox of Fond du Lac, Al Wilcox of Fond du Lac, Jeff (Amy) Wilcox of Fond du Lac, Patty Zeman of Campbellsport, Sally Holz of Fond du Lac, Mary Wilcox of Fond du Lac, sister-in-law, Kathy (Fritz) Krieser, Kewaskum, brother-in-law, Paul Behring, Kewaskum and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, a brother-in-law, Danny Zeman, two sisters-in-law, Mary Behring and Jean Wilcox, a nephew, and two nieces preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Susan C. Behring will be on Saturday, November 22, 2008, from 10 am to 4 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm at the funeral home. The Rev. Fred Toppe will officiate. Cremation will follow the traditional services. Memorials would be appreciated to Hospice Home of Hope or the National of Institute of Health, Attn: Lung Cancer Research.
