Susan R. "Susie" Diedrich

Susan R. “Susie” Diedrich, 76, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, December 13, 2024, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born in Fond du Lac on March 30, 1948, to Raymond and Marion (Fruehbrodt) Simon. On August 10, 1968, Susie married Donald “Don” Diedrich at St. Mary Church in Fond du Lac.

Susie shared 56 years of unwavering love with her husband Don. She embraced life and her many challenges with inner strength and courage. She will be remembered for being a loving and committed wife, mom and grandma. Caring for her grandchildren as they were growing up was one of her greatest joys. She loved knitting and in her earlier years enjoyed bowling. 

Susie is survived by her husband, Don; children, Todd (Mary) Diedrich, Angela Guyette, and Scott (Ginger) Diedrich; eight grandchildren, Lilly and Jack Diedrich, Hayden, Molly, and Sadie Diedrich, and Noah, Winter Grace, and Liam Guyette; and a sister, Nancy Lemke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and a brother-in-law, Carolyn and Wes Lemke, and brother-in-law, Bruce Lemke.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 20, 2024, at St. Mary Church, 59 E. Merrill Ave. in Fond du Lac. Visitation at church will begin at 9:00 AM and continue until the time of Mass. Entombment in Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery will follow the service.
