Susan Jane Boede

Susan Jane (Sauer) Boede, died with loving family and close friends at her side on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Green Bay. The daughter of Clara Sauer and the late David Sauer of Sheboygan, Susan was born November 19, 1945 in Sheboygan and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1964. She married Peter Boede on November 4, 1967 at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. After retiring as an industrial engineer from Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac in 2000, she moved to Gills Rock at the tip of the Door Peninsula in Wisconsin. She loved reading, traveling, especially to Mexico and sharing fun adventures with her many dear friends. She especially loved being a grandma.Susan's legacy is wonderful and varied. She'll always be remembered from her incredible sense of humor, the mischief in her heart and her superbly quick wit. She will be greatly missed by her loving family as well as a wide circle of friends fortunate enough to have her in their lives.SURVIVORS: her loving son Scott, his wife Laura, and her step-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Christopher. Susan is also survived by her mother Clara of Sheboygan Falls, her sister Karen (Wally) Graumann, her brother Mark (Karen), and her brother, Jonathan (Kim), and brother in law, Bob (Carol) Boede, "adopted son" Paul (Janel) Rumbuc, Susan was also blessed with many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, and her husband.



VISITATION: Tuesday, November 13, 2007 from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 12 noon at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place, with inurnment to take place at Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac.In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
