SUSIE A. PAYNESusie A. Payne, 76, formerly of Waupun and Shawano, died Sunday, June 25, 2006 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born on August 21, 1929, the daughter of Lorenz and Jessie Lampson Kaetterhenry in Stratford, WI. On August 5, 1950 Susie married Archie F. Payne in Stratford, WI. She loved children and made babysitting dozens of different children in her life her career. In later years she worked as a waitress at Sigrid's Restaurant in Waupun and later in Shawano. Her love for people showed through helping out everyone. Susie also enjoyed camping, traveling and most of all her family. Susie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.SURVIVORS: one daughter, Marilynn (Carl) Shady, Van Dyne; two sons, Clifford Payne, Waupaca and Arvid Payne and special friend Donna, Manitowoc; six grandchildren, Randy (Amy) Payne, Fond du Lac, Chanse Schomber, Chilton, Dalton Payne, Chilton, Brian, Cole and Nikki Jo Payne all of Manitowoc; three step grandchildren, Carla (Dan) Roeder, Waupun, Richard (Tammy) Shady, Sheboygan, Corey Shady, Waupun; eleven great grandchildren, Dakota, Jordon, Makayla, Justice, Sage, Maryah, Ty, Heather, Wyatt, and twins Corey and Kerry. She is further survived by one sister, Ardith Smith, Minnesota; three brothers, Robert (Dorothy) Kaetterhenry, Marinette, David (Margaret) Kaetterhenry, Mosinee, Alden (Mary) Kaetterhenry, Nekoosa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Archie on May 21, 1992, one sister, Winnefred Young, five brothers, Everett, Jason, Lorrel, Porter and Glen.
