Suzanne M. Liebenthal, 85, died Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. She was born April 23, 1936, in Milwaukee the daughter of Charles Edwin and Louise Hildred (Velte) Liebenthal.
Suzanne moved to Thiensville, Wis. as a young teenager where she lived until moving to Fond du Lac in May of 2003. She was a graduate of Cedarburg High School. Suzanne was self-employed as a dress maker owning and operating Suzanne’s Dress Making in Shorewood, Wis. for forty years. She was known for crocheting bears and blankets and donating those to St. Agnes Hospital.
Survivors include three nieces, Susan Koeferl, Nancy Kennealy, and Heidi (David) Gilbertson; five great-nieces; five great-nephews; four great-great-nieces; five great-great-nephews; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Diane Jarvey.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM including a celebration of Suzanne’s life at 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. A celebration of Suzanne’s life will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Her eternal resting place will be with her parents and sister at Arlington Park Cemetery in Milwaukee. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Hospice Home of Hope and/or a local humane society
