Tammy L. Henrich, 45, of Rosendale, passed away at her residence, Sunday, May 6, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer with her family by her side. She was born June 8, 1961 in Merrill, WI, the daughter of Lyle and Evelyn Lange Henrich.Her family moved to Rosendale when Tammy was nine years old. Tammy graduated from Laconia High School in 1979. Tammy worked at 7-up from graduation until she enlisted in the service. She bravely served her country by enlisting in the Army from 1980 "“ 1986. Tammy's tour took her to many states and Korea and Belgium, which is where Tammy gave birth to her son Gerald. She came home in 1986 to raise Gerald and enlisted in the National Guard, 1157 Transportation Unit of Oshkosh from 1986-1996. While in the 1157, Tammy served in Iraq during Desert Storm from 1990-1991. After serving in the service she had various temporary jobs, until finding her extended family at Stencil Aire, currently Laser Excel, Green Lake where she had been employed from 1990 to the present.Tammy enjoyed following Gerald's sporting events, flower gardens she created with her Dad (they started planning in winter what new plants they wanted for the next year), rock collecting by Lake Superior, reading, crafts, vacationing in Upper Wisconsin, Michigan, Canada and Walt Disney World.SURVIVORS: one son, Gerald, Rosendale; her parents, Lyle and Evelyn Henrich, Rosendale; one sister, Jenny (Norm) Burmeister, Oshkosh; one brother, Robert Henrich, Fond du Lac; two nephews, James and Michael Henrich, Fond du Lac; aunts, uncles and cousins. Tammy is further survived by her extended family at Laser Excel and the 1157 National Guard Unit in Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
VISITATION: Friends and family may call from 11 am "“ 2 pm on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Peace Lutheran Church, Rosendale. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 2 pm at the church with Rev. Charles Thompson officiating. Cremation has taken place and private family inurnment will be held at a later date in Rosendale Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
