Tena Farr

Tena Farr, 93, of 1291 Bechaud Avenue, North Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, October 25, 2006, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born February 28, 1913, in Fond du Lac County, the daughter of Jake and Ella Tobak Fennema. On November 8, 1933, she married Reuben A. Farr in Waukegan, IL. Mrs. Farr was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Surviving is her husband, Reuben, a daughter, Jean Ann (David) Backus of Fond du Lac, three sons, Vernon (Marilyn) Farr of Hobart, IN, Jerry R. (Ruth Ann) Farr of Waupun, and Howard L. (Diane) Farr of Las Vegas, 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Jeanette (Myron) Ortman of Tarpon Springs, FL, and Ann (Leon) Smoker of Roanoke, VA, and a brother, Delmar Fennema of Puyallup, WA. Her parents, a grandson, a granddaughter, two brothers, and a sister preceded her in death.



A memorial service for Mrs. Tena Farr will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2006, at 7 pm at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 570 Marshall Ave, Fond du Lac. Elder Guy Fennema will officiate.
