Theodore N. Ewerdt, 90, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at his residence. He was born December 28, 1921 in Brownsville, the son of Otto and Mary Schultz Ewerdt. Theodore was a graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII during the European Theatre. He spoke German fluently and was an interpreter. Theodore was a self employed carpenter for 29 years, building and repairing bowling alleys. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and enjoyed golfing and bowling.SURVIVORS: special friend, Jean Hermann, Fond du Lac, and her children, Kevin Hermann, Virginia Beach, VA and Susan Hermann, Nelson, WI; his children, Marilyn Stephany, Fond du Lac, Cheri (Roger) Gindt, Mayville, Karl Ewerdt, Fond du Lac, Gary (Lynn) Ewerdt, North Fond du Lac, Kathleen (Jack) Schicton, Minnesota, twins, Donald (Debbie) Ewerdt, Fond du Lac and Debbie Richie, South Dakota, and Sue (Ralph) Joseph, West Bend; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters; three brothers; one son-in-law, Gary Stephany; and Jean's son, Casey Hermann.
VISITATION: will be from 9 "“ 11 AM on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Memorial Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Memorial Baptist Church, with Rev. Brian Hastings officiating.
