Thomas A. Bell, 49, of 1027 Martin Avenue, died Monday, March 28, 2011, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born June 28, 1961, in Fond du Lac, the son of Melvin and Joyce Miller Bell. Thomas was currently employed by Eagle Installations of Oshkosh as a mechanic and had previously worked for Mid States Trucking of Fond du Lac. He was a veteran of the US Army serving with the 84th Division, retiring as a Staff Sergeant after 15 years of service. Tom was an avid fisherman, gardener, and enjoyed collecting sports cards and stamps. Surviving are two sons, Eric (Jessica) Hanrahan of Fond du Lac, and Colen Bell of Fond du Lac, a daughter, Tatiana Bell of Fond du Lac, a grandson, Jameson Hanrahan of Fond du Lac, a sister, Deborah (Huseyin) Kudu of Fond du Lac, a brother, Anthony (Elizabeth) Bell of Eugene, Oregon, and four nephews, Christopher, Joseph, Michael (Heather) and Douglas Rapp. His maternal and paternal grandparents, parents, and two brothers, Timothy and Douglas Bell, preceded him in death.
Visitation for Thomas A.Bell will be on Friday, April 1, 2011, from 11 to 1:30 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM at the funeral home. The Rev. Gerald Schrankler will officiate and cremation will follow the services. Members of Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 Firing Squad will conduct military rites at the funeral home.
