Thomas C. Schroeder

Thomas C. Schroeder, 83 of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Manitowoc on June 17, 1934 to Marshall and Erna (Krueger) Schroeder. Thomas was a 1952 graduate of Goodrich High School. On January 26, 1965 he married Mary Theyerl in Reno, Nev. She preceded him in death on August 3, 2002.



Thomas enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked football, especially the Badgers and the Packers. Thomas served in the National Guard for several years.



Survivors include his son, Scott (Sara Pelot) of Fond du Lac; his partner, Carole Jones of Fond du Lac; 4 step-children, Ronald (Kathy) Roberts, Betty (Joe) White, Carol Roberts and Gary Roberts, all of North Fond du Lac; a brother, Ross of Denver, Colo.; and a sister-in-law, Elaine Schroeder of De Pere. In addition to his wife, Mary, he was preceded in death by his parents; 3 step-sons, Gerry Roberts, Dale Roberts and Bruce Roberts; a brother, Marshall “Bud”; and 2 sisters, Gretchen Kellenberger and Sue Lahn.



At the request of Thomas, there will be no services.



The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses of Agnesian Hospice for their support and care for Thomas.
