Thomas E. Gratton

Thomas E. Gratton, age 67, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, September 25, 2021, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on June 8, 1954, in Fond du Lac, the son of Adrian “Sam” Gratton and Dolores (Jungwirth) Gannon. On May 12, 1979, Tom married Donna Sabel at St. John the Baptist Church in Johnsburg, WI. Tom worked at Saputo Cheese for thirty-five years. He loved fishing, hunting, sturgeon spearing, four-wheeling, going up north to the cabin, and most of all spending time with his three grandchildren. Tom supported all the local hunting and fishing clubs with his favorite being Sturgeon for Tomorrow. He also had a love of dogs and had a way with dogs like a dog whisperer.



Survivors include his wife, Donna; two children, Sara (Robert) Reinbold, Adam (Amy) Gratton; three grandchildren, Adalyn, Kyler, and Ayva; two brothers, Bob (Cindy) Gratton, John (Nancy) Gratton; Donna’s siblings, Debra (Jay) Hebenstreich, Wayne Sabel, and Brian Sabel; his mother-in-law, Bernice Sabel; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his father-in-law, Delbert Sabel.



Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, from 3-6 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A private family service will follow the visitation. Cremation has taken place.
