Thomas "Dog" F. Schroeder Sr, age 71, of 1101 Wisconsin Ave, North Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, December 07, 2010 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on March 12, 1939 the son of Glenn and Madeline (Meyer) Schroeder. On February 28, 1960 he married Carol D. Ziebell at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on June 29, 2007. Tom served in the United States Air Force. He was the owner of Tom's Tap in North Fond du Lac for many years. Tom was a member of Presentation Church and attended mass daily. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing on Lake Michigan, and didn't go anywhere without his four-legged pal "Webster". SURVIVORS: two sons, Tom (fiancé Ellie Fincke) Schroeder of North Fond du Lac, Tim (Andrea) Schroeder of Hubertus, WI, daughter, Tracie Burg of Stevens Point, WI, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers, Richard (Lois) Schroeder of Tacoma, WA, John (Jane) Schroeder of New Holstein, one sister, Sandy (Marlin) Kastenschmidt of St. Peter, and other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carol, sister, Gloria (Ray) Koentopp, brother, Jim Schroeder, and good fishing buddy, Gary Mohr.
VISITATION: Friday, December 10, 2010 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at Presentation Church, 705 Michigan Ave, North Fond du Lac with the Reverend John Simon officiating. Friends may call on Saturday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Burial will follow at Estabrooks Cemetery.
