Thomas J. "T.J." Schwind

Thomas J. “T.J.” Schwind, 79, of Fond du Lac, died on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on September 21, 1941, in Fond du Lac, the son of Andrew and Lucile (Little) Schwind. T.J. served in the United States Air Force. On, July 9, 2010, he married Janice Colby in Fond du Lac. T.J. was a retired 1st and 2nd generation Top Hats Motorcycle Club member. He loved his motorcycles, cars, and fly model airplanes. He worked for many years at EAA as a flagman. He liked going on veteran rides, attending charity events, helping children, providing CBD products, and maintaining his lawn.



He is survived by his wife, Janice; seven children, Robert Schwind, Henry (Barbara) Schwind, Nicholas Schwind, Henry Horst, Raymond Horst, Samuel Horst, and Stephanie Horst; two grandchildren; four sisters, Anna (Ron) Flury, Nancy (Albert) Pahnke, Rosemary (Wayne) Pirkle, and Beverly Jean (Richard) Thacker; special goddaughter, Barbie (Garfield) Taylor “Rowe”, and all the Top Hat Motorcycle Club members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Lucile; sister; two nieces; and a nephew.



The visitation will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The service and a time of remembrance will follow the visitation at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Military Honors will be held at 5:00 PM. Cremation will follow the service.
