Thomas J. "Toby" Tobin

Thomas "Toby" J. Tobin, age 75, of 69 N. Park Ave, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at his residence. He was born on December 1, 1934 in Fond du Lac, the son of John and Jane (Niles) Tobin. On April 4, 1959 he married Lenore Bott at St. Mary's Church. He served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956. Tom worked at Mercury Marine in Plant 4 for over forty years. He was a member of the Eagles Club and the Mercury Quarter Century Club; he enjoyed camping at Pearl Lake, bowling, gambling, and softball. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.SURVIVORS: three children, Patrick (Cheryl) Tobin, Christine Foote, and Kathleen (Thomas) Mielkie, all of Fond du Lac, two grandchildren, Ryan and Michael, nephew, John (Denise) Tobin, niece, Joan (Dan) Draves both of Fond du Lac, special friends, Butch and Kathy Moon, and many other close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father in law, his wife Lenore on November 25, 2003, his brother John, and sister in law, Froan.



VISITATION: Wednesday, May 5, 2010 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services.
