Thomas Paul Aird, age 53, of 708 Maine Ave, North Fond du Lac, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, February 2, 2009 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on May 17, 1955 in Antigo, the son of Wilfred and Patricia (Brennan) Aird. On March 1, 1974 he married Debra K. Schoeneck in Enterprise, WI. Tom worked for the railroad since 1974 and was an active member of UTU Local 583. He served the village of North Fond du Lac as a volunteer firefighter for several years. Tom was a very active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, North Fond du Lac. He loved his Lord, his family, music, his dog Flossie Mae, and also enjoyed holding sessions in the Wisdom Center.SURVIVORS: his wife, Debra of North Fond du Lac, three children, Paul (Molly) Aird of Fond du Lac, April Aird of Alexandria, VA, Andrew Aird (special friend Molly Kruckenberg) of North Fond du Lac, three grandchildren, William Thomas, Talia Ann, and Mason Daniel, three siblings, Maxine (Ken) Boula, Mike Aird, and Patrick Aird, mother in law, Charlotte Schoeneck, brothers in law and sisters in law, David (Sharon) Schoeneck, Connie Schoeneck, Dee (Mike) Froncek, Sandy (Kermit) Knutson, Sue (Russ) Rocke, Dennis (Kim) Schoeneck, and Scott (Denise) Schoeneck, and many dear nieces, nephews, and many special friends. His parents, his father in law, Lester Schoeneck, and one brother in law, Randy Schoeneck, preceded him in death.



VISITATION: Friday, February 6, 2009 from 3-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1010 Adams Ave, North Fond du Lac with the Reverend Thomas Behnke and Reverend Michael Kampman officiating. Burial will follow at Rienzi Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.Memorials may be directed to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church NFDL Building Fund.Additional information and guestbook can be found at www.ueckerwitt.comUecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
